Financial Services Administrator.

About the Role

Primarily to provide administration and sales support to the financial services consultant, existing clients and new business pipeline.

These duties include:

  • Communicating with clients via email, telephone and in person (telephone enquiries, email and letter correspondence).
  • Creating and managing client files in line with Central Bank compliance, regulatory and ethical requirements.
  • Inputting Life Assurance applications online and preparing Life and Pensions Quotations online and keeping clients updated on progress of same.
  • Administration of Group Life Assurance and Income Protection policy. Processing and running claims, liaising with financial institutions, solicitors, GPs and any other outstanding requirements.
  • Sales support and proactive pipeline management.
  • Preparing and maintaining paperwork for internal reporting and analysis.
  • Competitor analysis and market research.
  • Liaising with the compliance team regarding client file audits.
  • Reviewing and updating policies and procedures.
  • Other ad hoc administration and project work as required.

Requirements

Essential

  • QFA qualified or have completed QFA modules in Life Assurance, Pensions, Investment and Regulatory (APA Life, Pension and Investments) with plans to finalise QFA.
  • Experience in brokerage, life and pensions or investments industry.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, multi-task and prioritise workload.
  • Excellent attention to detail, while working to tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an excellent telephone manner.
  • Proficient in MS office suite, with particular emphasis on Excel.
  • Fluent verbal and written English language skills.

Desirable

  • Call centre, sales or cold-calling experience.
  • Knowledge of the FS regulatory and compliance environment (i.e. Central Bank regulations and consumer protection code).
  • An understanding of AML, Data Protection and Information security
